Fourteen brave Pakistan Army soldiers lost their lives in a tragic incident as a convoy of security forces en route from Pasni to Ormara in the Gwadar district of Balochistan fell under a terrorist ambush on Friday. The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement confirming the incident and announced an ongoing sanitization operation in the area to bring the perpetrators of this heinous act to justice.
In a separate incident earlier this week, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Zhob district of Balochistan. This operation, carried out between October 31 and November 1 in the Sambaza area, witnessed an intense exchange of fire between the troops and terrorists. Six terrorists were neutralized during the operation, and a significant cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives was recovered.
The ISPR stated, “Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.”
According to the ISPR, the slain terrorists had been actively involved in various terrorist activities against security forces and were responsible for targeting innocent civilians.
