Lahore Administration Grants PTI Permission for NA-123 Kahan Rally

The city administration initially denied the Imran Khan-led party’s request to hold a political gathering at Liberty Chowk in Lahore. However, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has now received approval from the city administration to conduct a public rally in the NA-123 Kahan area on October 22.

In response to the initial denial, PTI submitted a petition to the Lahore High Court (LHC) challenging the city administration’s decision. During a hearing held last week, the LHC issued a statement, emphasizing that no permissions for any political rally would be granted if PTI were not allowed to hold their planned event. The court also summoned a response from the deputy commissioner, who was required to provide the court with the reasons behind the refusal to grant PTI permission for the Liberty Chowk rally.
