In a separate incident a day earlier, 14 Pakistan Army soldiers lost their lives in an ambush by terrorists while security forces were traveling from Pasni to Ormara in the Gwadar district of Balochistan. The Inter Services Public Relations vowed to conduct a sanitization operation in the area, vowing to hunt down and bring the perpetrators of this heinous act to justice. The military reaffirmed its determination to eradicate terrorism from the country, with the sacrifices of brave soldiers strengthening their resolve.
Earlier this week, security forces successfully killed six terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Zhob district of Balochistan. The operation, conducted in the Sambaza area on the night between October 31 and November 1, resulted in an intense exchange of fire, leading to the elimination of six terrorists and the recovery of a cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives.
A statement from the military’s media wing has confirmed the successful conclusion of a combing and clearance operation at the PAF Training Airbase Mianwali, resulting in the elimination of all nine terrorists. This operation was initiated to neutralize any potential threats in the area following an unsuccessful terrorist attack on the base earlier in the day.
Fortunately, none of the PAF’s functional operational assets suffered any damage during the attack, with only three non-operational aircraft already phased out sustaining some damage. The military emphasized the prompt and professional execution of the operation, sending a strong message to those who seek to disrupt peace that Pakistan’s Armed Forces are fully capable of defending the homeland.
